Beryl Forrester: In His Own Words

After Beryl had spent 14 years in West Africa as a pioneer missionary he dug his heels in and refused to leave his beloved, adopted homeland. In the years since 2013 he has transitioned into the ministry of Bible teaching in several West African venues. He has found an open door among several churches eager to learn more about radical New Testament Christianity from an Anabaptist perspective. In this video Beryl talks about the development of this, his semi-retirement ministry.  Beryl Forrester: In His Own Words

Beryl has publish a book about his pioneer mission years in Gambia and Guinea Bissau. The title, Animist to Anabaptist tells the story of the establishment of the Mennonite mission in those countries 2000- 2013. The book is full of stories of Africans who are on the journey of being liberated from the harshness and sadness of a life dominate by Satan and coming into a relationship with God who loves them and transforms their lives into Christlikeness.
In addition the book opens many vistas on missiology: how to do mission that respects a non-Western cultural setting yet helps new believers to move into faith and life from a radical Christian perspective. Recommended for anyone interested in missions or who wants to know more about life as a missionary. Beryl's book is available on Amazon and can be accessed through this link:  Animists to Anabaptists.
